I ended up flicking my skirt to reveal my leg for a second which allowed me to secretly remove my heel from my skirt. I came off stage thinking everyone must have seen, to find out no one had noticed!"

Any advice you can give budding burlesque starlets?
DB - "Go to as many shows as possible and talk to the performers. Ask to help out at shows and be part of the back stage experience. I learnt a lot from helping at the MoB shows and talking to amazing performers such as Kittie Klaw, Dusty Limits, Red Sarah."
"You also need to be prepared to put the work into your burlesque career. It take years to build up a reputation, you can't do one performance and then decide you are up there with the likes of Immodesty you need to work your way up and take advice when given."
"Lastly, good luck and remember enjoy yourself on stage, if you are enjoying your performance then the audience will see that and enjoy it to."
